About Us:

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal organization dedicated to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, its primary purpose was to provide financial assistance and support to Catholic families, especially those of deceased members. Today, it is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization, with over 2 million members globally. 

 Principles:

The Knights of Columbus is built on four core principles:

  • Charity: Providing support to those in need, including the sick, disabled, and impoverished. 
  • Unity: Fostering a sense of brotherhood and solidarity among members. 
  • Fraternity: Building strong relationships and bonds of friendship among members. 
  • Patriotism: Demonstrating love and support for one’s country

Membership:

Membership is open to practicing Catholic men, 18 years of age or older, in good standing with the Catholic Church.

Activities:

The Knights of Columbus engages in a wide range of charitable and community-focused activities, including:

  • Providing financial aid and insurance programs for members and their families. 
  • Supporting local parishes and communities through fundraising and volunteer work. 
  • Engaging in pro-life activities and advocating for the protection of human life. 
  • Supporting military personnel and veterans.
